November 2006 Concert
The Pro-Mozart Society of Atlanta's November 2006 concert featured Anton Belov, Baritone, who was accompanied by Andrew Bayles, Pianist.

Anton Belov, Baritone
Anton Belov was born in Moscow in 1975. He came to America in 1991. He presently teaches voice at the University or Connecticut and the University of Massachusetts. He holds a Bachelor of Music Degree from the New England Conservatory, an Artist's Diploma, and a Master of Music Degree from the Juilliard School.
Anton has sung lead roles in Don Giovani, The Marriage of Figaro, La Boheme, Eugene Onegin, La Cenerentola, Carmen, The Consul, Les Noces, Ellijah Oratorio, and Carmina Burana. He was praised by the Washington Post for his Kennedy Center debut as having "a voluminous sound, appealing stage presence, and a tone of rich vibrancy." He was the First Prize Winner of the 2002 Young Concerts Artists International Auditions; he won First Prize in the 2002 George London Foundation for Singers Competition; First Prize in the 2001 Lucia Albanese Puccini Foundation International Competition; First Prize at the 2002 New Jersey State Opera Competition; First Place winner at the 2002 Eastern Region Metropolitan Opera National Counsel Auditions, to name but a few.

Andrew Bayles, Pianist
Andrew Bayles is a director, accompanist, concert pianist, and an opera singer. His undergraduate degree is from Millikin University where he received a degree in Vocal Performance. He is pursuing a double Master's Degree in Vocal Performance and Choral Conducting at Georgia State University.
Andrew's most recent concert solo piano performances include playing Alban Berg's piano Sonata No. 1 at Millikin University as well as Rachmaninoff's First Piano Concerto. This summer Andrew was faculty accompanist for La Musica Kirica Program in Novafeltria, Italy.
He also works as an accompanist for the Georgia State University School of Music.
