April 2000 Concert

The Pro-Mozart Society of Atlanta's April 2000 concert featured Stephen Wilber, Pianist. Stephen was the society's 1999 Scholarship Competition winner. His playing was confident, technically secure and impressive, and the recital he presented required mastery of the keyboard.

Program

The program consisted of Mozart, Debussy, Chopin, Schubert, and Liszt. The audience favorite appeared to be the Liszt “Dante” Sonata, which demanded enormous technical skill, and which Stephen demonstrated most ably.

The reception after the concert was packed with members and friends enjoying conversation with Stephen and each other. It was a wonderful and memorable afternoon of music.
